Feature & Follow Friday #9

This is a weekly meme hosted by: Alison Can Read and Parajunkee that is aimed to help bloggers grow their audience and make new friends. They feature two bloggers every week and have a question for everyone to answer…

This weeks question: Put together a list of blogger resolutions.

I already did this for the Book Blogger New Years Challenge here and Top Ten Tuesday here.

Here’s the list I came up with for those of you who missed those posts:

1. Learn some web design- I want to make my blog prettier!

2. Socialize with other blogs- I have a bad habit of reading blog posts and not commenting.
3. Participate in challenges- I love challenges and they keep me motivated.
4. Social media- I am terrible about updating Twitter and Facebook.
5. Goodreads- I haven’t been very active on Goodreads lately and I miss my friends!
6. Schedule posts- I have a bad habit of not writing posts right away and skipping to the next book.

7. Update blogroll- I have added a bunch of new blogs that I follow but haven’t updated them to the blogroll.

8. Participate in more blogtours- It’s fun.

9. Make my blog a priority- As much as I love reading it’s all for nothing if I don’t keep blogging which I love!

10. Participate in more memes- I love Feature & Follow Friday… I’d love to find more to add to that.

  1. Great goals! I, too, need to be more active on Goodreads. With ya there. And I highly recommend scheduling blog posts, even in advance if you can. That, more than anything else, helps me keep my blogging well in hand. 😀 Happy Friday!

  2. I'd like to participate in a few more blog tours, too. I think I did two last year, both for the same author. Sometimes I see ones I want to sign up for, but I open the tab and then forget about it.

  3. I wish I knew more webdesign myself. I have tried to check out books from the library and those books are just confusing. I don't normally make my blog posts ahead of time. I might right a review and post it on a different day but other then that I just go with the flow.

  4. Excellent resolutions, my dear. There are a few on your list that didn't make it onto mine, but that I want to do as well…like figure out some web design. 🙂

    Good luck and Happy Friday!!

  5. Those are all great….and ones I need to do too 😉 I want to get a little more savvy at the web design stuff. I think it would be fun to change things up once and a while. I get nervous now that if I do I'll ruin what I have LOL. Happy Friday!

  6. Thanks for stopping by and following me! I'm a new GCF and Bloglovin follower. I signed up for two blog tours for the first time. I am accepted for one and waiting on word from the other. I too and thinking about upgrading my blog but trying to find a designer who doesn't have a wait list four months out! Good luck with all your resolutions!

  7. I also want to learn web design. I actually tried a bit last year but didn't really learn anything that I didn't already know. Thanks for sharing; old bloglovin follower:)

  8. Sorry I'm so late at getting back to all of you!! I would also like to learn some web design! Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am a new GFC follower.

  9. Great list! I'm also terrible at updating Twitter and Facebook, so I decided to go with automatic updates through dlvr.it. So, anything I post on my blog is automatically posted on Twitter and Facebook also. I know it's not the best solution, but until I have more time to do the updating myself, it's better than not updating at all. Good luck with your goals!

Tell me what you think!
