Feature & Follow Friday #12

This is a weekly meme hosted by:Alison Can Readand Parajunkeethat is aimed to help bloggers grow their audience and make new friends. They feature two bloggers every week and have a question for everyone to answer.

This week’s question:
If you could read a book for the “first time” again, which book would it be? Why?

The Wheel of Time Series

Because I can remember waiting for each book to come out… talking to my brother about the books when they came out and sharing the series with my son when he was old enough to read them.  There is no other series that can compare with the complexity of The Wheel of Time.

  1. I've not heard of this series before but will check it out later.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

  2. Ooh I haven't heard of the Wheel of Time series. I'll have to look it up. Thanks for stopping by, following you back 🙂

  3. Okay, I have a love/hate relationship with The Wheel of Time series. On the one hand, I love the story that Jordan came up with and I REALLY want to finish this series. On the other hand, these books are all SO LONG and drawn out – Jordan loves to give us tiny details and tell us everything from three million secondary characters' POV's. It makes me a bit crazy!! So, I've been slowly but surely making my way through these on audiobook. I WILL finish this series! 🙂

  4. I actually have the first two books of the series here at my house!! I just haven't read them yet. I don't know why either to be honest…. just so much to read that I have put it to the side. They were my mom's but she didn't enjoy the series so she gave me the books. Can't wait to give it a try!!

  7. I haven't heard of these, which I know a lot of people have said. It looks like a really long series. The meaning behind you loving them though is wonderful and makes me want to give it a shot! Off to goodreads to look them up….

  9. WoT is like my favorite series of all time! I'm actually re-reading it right now, doing a read-along with some other bloggers, because the first time I read it I was in the same boat. I got to about book 8 before I was caught up to the published installments, and then had to wait two years between each. Now that all 14 are out, it's fun to go back and re-read. Love these books! They're the best! Now following via GFC and bloglovin'. 😀 Have a great weekend!

  13. I hope you're a Sanderson fan then and like the way he finished the series. I've only read the first book I was a bit put off by all people saying that the middle books were awful.
